Wow! I was surprised ? 2780 LB's with about 8 gallons of fuel and street rims and tires
Can you list what is done to the car from factory to get it where it is now? Glass bumpers? Hood? No interior at all and one seat? Manual steering? Stuff like that please!
Thats pretty light.
Is it still 3-seasons streetable? Can you drive it in the rain?
scrap yard scales tend to weigh a little lite about 4lbs to the hundred around here . my cousin is gov certified in this . he says hes not out the door and they change them back .
That's pretty good. Well done diet. Is that with factory glass or lexan?
Are you going to add the important weight frame connectors roll bar I could go on you take out the heavy stuff now but it comes back a little at a time. Stock disc brake vs lite weight brakes. I have a 71 Duster 2950 with all stock glass, fiberglass hood front bumper I even have a bench seat because I like it? and carpet no back seat. I want to take out another 100 but where. It gets harder. But you have a good start point.
yeah, I had no idea? I knew it was getting lighter but that was pretty light! I'm sure I've got at least another hundred pounds to lose puttin on the drag rims and tires. take a rim and tire off today to check the difference. and my project for today is to take off the stock trunk lid and start cutting and grinding away that extra one that I bought a few months ago for just this purpose.Yup, that is pretty light. Oddly enough I was able to weigh my car this past weekend too (it has been over 10 years since I weighed it). I was guessing it was 3200 with me in it, and it turned out to be 3195 with ½ a tank of fuel so 3025 without me in it.
was that with you in then driver seat? wow great job i hope i can get my 73 duster down close to that with me in it.Wow! I was surprised ? 2780 LB's with about 8 gallons of fuel and street rims and tires
