hello just picked up a 1966 PLY Valiant 100 Wagon..1 owner .they said it ran in 04'....put battery in it no power from key no lights,,,,,was going to get a new Ballast resistor, power relay module , what am I forgetting ?

ground connections from battery to block. next in line would be the fusible link from battery. Cheap volt/ohm meter is good to have in these situations.

Ground from the battery to the block :glasses7: and I would add a ground from your battery to body as well, bulk head connections need to be looked at carefully and cleaned ....13 years is a long time with.
Yep a volt meter is your best friend :coffee2:

don`t bother, load it on a truck, and send it to me w/ the title---lol--bob

If it has no power from key to lights as you say, check the fuseable link. When there is no power or lights, that's usually the problem.

also clean the battery connections like Mike stated above.

so I re-placed the Ballast Resistor, Ignition relay , Power Relay, re-placed fuses in fuse box , can't find a fuse able link to battery...has electronic points ,caps good put new Spark plugs -gaped at 40....can Ark Jump start Starter and turns over stonge, put fresh gas in it but after 50-60 cranks not picking up gas to carb... still no power at dash or lights , also has a canister that's plumbed to water hoses that you can plug in '''' ..it works heats up quik......will keep looking for fuse able link....it doesn't have a 'condenser any were will get one tomorrow.....that's all it took on last car 72 Scamp

As mentioned...bulkhead connection.Check under dash to see if power coming in through the bulkhead.Seperate at firewall to check for corrosion..common problem.

Hate to be an english nazi but that's hard for me to read/comprehend. One big run on sentence.

Hi,

Go over to mymopar.com and download a wiring diagram for your car. That plus getting that voltmeter will allow you to intelligently track through the electrical system and find the problems. I don't quite understand what you mean by the car has electronic points and you are looking for condensers. Also, a car that has been sitting that long with gas in the tank is likely to be all varnished up and I wouldn't be surprised if the fuel pick up sock in the tank is a solid mass of goo. Once you get the ignition system producing spark you might want to try letting the fuel pump draw clean fuel from a can.

I see what looks like an aftermarket electronic ignition system in your pictures but who knows if its getting power or if it's any good anymore.

I think I am in love! If you cant get her running... I'd be glad to drive to NH and pick her up. I might even give you a few bucks for her. LOL!
Nice find. I'm jealous.
