Hemi Denny and group are over near the pre stage lanes to the drag strip. There was a map floating around here somewhere.

we had a great time in carlisle this year. more cars than ever and we took a second place in a-bodies modified.

On a sorry note it looks like Rodzilla had to make a last minute change due to his job and will
not be making it this year. I know that this hurts him as much as it hurts us.

Always a distinct pleasure to see Rod and Keila throughout the weekend. You will be missed!

Thanks John,,,we wish it wasn't so. Thoroughly bummed but we WILL be there next year!

The HDK tent will be at the bottom left corner of this map; just to the right of the Viper tent;
between the Vipers and the Fun Field.

Another way to find it is to imagine standing on the starting line of the dragstrip and looking
directly to the right, across the staging lanes. At 40' x 120' it will be pretty hard to miss.

Please stop by, say hello and enjoy seeing some special cars.

Wife and I will be there in swap spaces N6 & 7. Stop by and say hello.

So about the cruise in Heath, my dart wont be done or even close to it. But I'd like to go watch, is there a good place to park along the route?

Get a quote from Stephens Performance. They bring truck loads with them and get deliveries during the show.

I hope they are cheaper at the show...holy crap, I just called and was quotes 279.99 for an outer rocker panel skin.....for comparison, summit racings has AMD ones for 229.99 and Sherman ones for 41.67. Is AMD really worth the extra coin? especially that much extra?

Right out front of our Hotel. The Holiday Inn Express.

Our crowd quit going to Heath 4 or 5 years ago. It still looks like fun....but nothing like the first several years. Now we mostly hang out at the hotel eating HemiMarks cheese sandwiches ......and socialize.

This year Joe will be giving a tutorial on folding chairs after sundown and numerous (more than two) adult beverages.

That was classic and way to funny.
FYI, the Barracuda goes to the tuner in the morning (Monday, 20) Jim is going to pick me and the car up early and drop it off for a few days of tweaking. I might need to pass the hat around for this tune!
Alignment next week......rear brakes, dripping trans fluid and all the other little problems will be science out also. I'm selling this car.

We are heading up for our first time! Hope we can find a good place to hang out in the evenings and see some cars!!! I thought everyone still cruised Brice Road so that is where we made (non refundable) reservations. Then I find out that is no where close to where everyone hangs out now. :banghead:

That will still put you in the prime area....everything is in the immediate general local and
I'll bet the hotels where you are going will be full of Mopars.

It's not that far. You can easily do both in one night. BTW, they close the track at 6PM but a lot of the cars don't hang around that late.
Brice Rd earned its reputation in the early days. It eventually became too stifling with the heavy police action. Heath popped up and it was more lenient. I'm not a big fan of burnouts. (What's the big deal?) But the atmosphere of Mopars just cruisin through on streets lined with people in lawn chairs can be fun. Most of the trouble seems to come from the locals who bring their Brand C and F junk down.

That's what I did. Ordered ahead of time and picked up 2 full AMD quarters for the 68. Also have done other parts. 10% show discount, no tax, no shipping. Stephens isn't necessarily the cheapest but they are the largest seller of AMD tin.

*** CONFIRMED ***

Just confirmed Ben Donhoff and the original Mopar Missile Duster for the HDK tent.
