I need measurements for and engine stand

-
I need the length from end to end of the legs that sit on the wheels. The length of the cross piece at the rear. Also the height from the top of the rear cross piece to the center of the engine mount plate.

I can do that. I should have them for you by the time I turn in (9:00 P.M. PST) I know I hit the hay early.

The dimension posted above weren't exactly what I was looking for. Anyone else. I am going to buy the tubing tomorrow and need some help.

Jaimie, I have one similar, it measures as follows:

The tubing itself is 1.5 inches by 3 inches for the upright piece and the base tubing is 2 by 2 inches square.

Upright tube from cross piece to bottom of tube is 28 inches, then has the tube welded to the top for the swivel so you can rotate the engine. I didn't measure that, but you should be able to come up with that.

Rear cross tube 30 inches.

Length of legs from cross tube forward 30 inches.

Mine has 3 inch inch caster wheels (steel). Rear casters are just straight forward and back, the front ones are swivel. Don't cheap out on the casters, lol !!

Hope it helps.

Like I said it's not exactly like the one you posted, but pretty close. Mine moves very well with a complete engine on it, and is very solid when working on the engine, not much if any springiness to it.

I would post a pic, but it's sorta buried.

In addition, the upright on the ones I have lean back 7-10 degrees from vertical.

Yes, mine does also. Good catch.

And the upright tube on mine is the 3 inch fore and aft direction on mine, welded to a piece angle and bolted to the cross tube, similar to what you see on the one you posted J.

This is exactly what I needed. Thanks for the info.
