What about some details?

Its on alcohol. Engine was moved back into the fire wall. I believe it was 4-5 inches. Fender well were removed. He just this week put on a fiberglass trunk lid & a parachute. First run last year 8. 98 at 148 mph. I think it has 4.11 gears not sure. They have changed gears a lot. I cant keep up. When it comes to engine & trans I don't know whole lot about it

Ok, not my car but its a friends of mine. I did the body & paint. 440 small block All steel but the hood. First time out last year it did 8.98 in the 1/4 Hoping to improve this year.

While all this is great, two problems exist;
Not your car
No information about the car
Doesn't help the next person trying to get it done or learn about what it takes.
So, what's the point?
Nice looking car though.

Turbofreek,nice ride! Can I ask a few questions? I got a spare 5.7 hemi I wanna start messing with. Cable drive pump. Thought that was a mechanical f. i. thing. Pump in the back by the tank? Methanol for fuel? Intercooler? How much boost? Dont it want to lift the heads? What does it weigh? The car is real interesting. One last question. What kind of r.p.m.? Thanks!

pump is in front of the rear bumper behind the fuel cell yes. it has a cable that runs up to the front and runs off the crank. the pump is just a belt drive with a hex drive shaft that allows the cable to attach to it. it is made by waterman the cable setup is. the fuel pump is a magnaflow pro outlaw 750. which can be used in carb, efi or mfi setups. just has to be run at a 2 to1 ratio from crank rotation.
e85 for fuel but i do want to add a second set of injectors to run methonal somewhere along the line. ill be able to switch from e85 to pumpgas right at the station via my holley dash. so if i do a lot of street driving and go some distance. i wont have to worry about being able to find fuel if i run low. best think since sliced bread that efi is. lol
7k rpms i dont intent to rev any higher.
ill also run a meth kit on it for safe measures but only if i decide to run more than 660ft of track aka the 1/4.
seems many have been fine with mls gaskets and eagles around 12-1300rwhp. i may step up to larger head stud diameter if i find issues at that power level. i think it will be a lot of it in keeping the tune safe at and before peak torque to k33p the heads down.
behind the big autos or 6spd manuals trans and irs stuff. i think my rollerized proglide and roller bearing 9" should allow more power to the tire from less power losses.
i also have a custom built billet 82mm turbo setup just for my application and racing class i intend to run once done.

540CI Mopar~ Keith Black Block with Predator Heads built by Jimmy Lopez "JLO Competition Engines"~ stock leaf spring suspension~'66 Plymouth Valiant launches a wild wheelstand on all motor pass! The other pass with tire spin and no nitrous netted a 8.73@153.63mph
