got a set of eaton springs for jamies dart back in july.. ordered them from pete at http://www.bergmanautocraft.com/

the car had a set of +1" espo 5 leaf springs on it.. i didn't like how high they sat (24" from the ground to the wheel well) so i put a set of 1.5" lowering blocks on ot to get the car to sit the right way..:) it put the back at 22.5" from the ground tot he wheel well... i liked that look but thought the 5 leaf springs were too soft ,especially after the trip to carlisle all loaded up.

so i got ahold of pete and he sold me these eaton springs.. stock height.. that wheel well is now 23" from the ground. i'll put some miles on it and see if it settles out any, if not i'll probably put a 1/2 inch block in it to put it where i really want though..

one note: if you are going from 6cyl. to these things you'll have to drill out the front mount hole to 5/8". the v-8 uses a bigger spring eye bolt then the 6cyl. not a big deal but just something you should know..

...don't know why but sitting real high has a big following.Like you i prefer stock or a tad lower for the benefits alone.

I will when I can. Dark now and working the next two days till dark so hopefully Friday.

So 23" from the ground to the top of the wheel arch with 225/70/14's?

That's a 26.5" tire according to the specs, for anyone that wants to figure out where their car would sit with a different height tire...

.
eaton stock height springs.
about 23" from the ground tot he wheelwell.. tires are bout 1" shorter in dia at 25.6" then the ones with rally wheels 26.4" in dia...

i think a half inch block will put it where i want it (especially after its loaded for a trip..:) ).. if i ordered the springs again i'd probably buy the 1" under stock height.

Looks good both ways but I like the dog dishes over the rallys. Dads FB sits way up in the arse end like a cat in heat lol. I think it has Xhd but not sure...

oh i hate the over done ugly *** rally wheels. they weren't even an option. just something i threw on when we went to big bolt until the body color wheels and tires were ready.. i'm more concerned with the stance..
