So on the driver side of the 66 ddart, if I want to push the little triangle vent window open, it hits the side view mirror after about 1 inch. Hummm,,, is that how the car was designed?
Do I have to move the mirror out of the way, then open the window, then readjust the mirror?
I am using the original mirror....i think.
Anyone else testify to this?

I had that problem on my 69 Valiant. I rotated the mirror head, which was anchored off center, and that solved the problem. -- My mirror was the original stock mirror, in the factory position. -- Possibly your mirror is the same.

Sounds like something's wrong. The mirror shouldn't interfere with the window opening...

Here's a 66 with the original twin post mirror in the factory location.

Hummm, well I tried rotating it 180 but no difference. So maybe you can take a look at my setup and tell me if I have the wrong mirror?
Is mine supposed to be round? or rectangle?

You were supposed to rotate the mirror, NOT the whole car.:D
Looks like your mirror is too far back on the door by about 6 inches to me.

Mirror looks like it is to far back like others mentioned .... all pics I have seen look like they are suppose to be closer to the front where the vent window starts
