Hello everyone. I have been running a 340 in my car for several years and this year i am converting to 440. It is stock bottom end with comp cams 550 lift solid cam with indy roller rockers and stage 6 heads. Im not sure what the horsepower will be but im estimating around 500. Im running 3500 stall converter with manual reverse valve body with transbrake. 3.90 rear gears in 8 3/4. Ladder bar suspension with super stock springs and housing floater kit and comp engineering drag shocks on the corners. Hope to run 11.50s in 1/4 mile. Im sure i will get lot of useful info here and hopefully not too much flack ( theres always haters) Thank you and have a great day
 
Sounds like a superb setup and a realistic goal if you can get traction.

What are your plans for that 340 that you're pulling out?
