Hello , I was hoping to get some help. I'm new to forums. I have a 1971 duster for about 25 years . It went though some changes over the years . I bought the car as a rolling chassis , witch I turn back into a street car. I put a 340 with a turbocharge in it , that I built myself . It never really performed and hert the motor last year. I thought it was time to step up . With the help of ryan at shady dells speed shop I built a 414 stroker .Then with lots of 727 parts from A&A I built a killer trans. I'm getting ready to put the new combo in and now need some help. I'm looking for a turbo kit or exhaust headers to work off of. I seen an old thread that prine posted a pic of some headers .I wood be interested in something like that.

Thanks. I will give it a shot. I will post some pics soon.

Well, you don't have many options other than build your own headers and exhaust, or use a set of magnum manifolds, swap them from side to side and then build off of that. In an a-body, If you go the magnum route, you cannot use a power steering box and a manual box is tight and will likely require raising the engine or shaving the manifold.

What exhaust did you use on your old turbocharger system?

Ya I went down that road . But I should have bought a good set of headers . I bought a set of summit headers and they were paper thin. When I went to modify the headers it wasn't easy. They didn't fit write in without modifying . I'm posting some pics of my old set up and a couple of my car .

Is that the oil pressure sender mounted to the top of the turbo? That's a good idea. I may do that as well.

Ya I have the oil pressure sender mounted on the turbo . I also have a oil pressure switch on a t at the stock location . It goes to a red light on my tack ,so if I loose pressure it comes on. It's good when I'm racing , if the light come on shut it down. Its to hard to look at the gauge when your banging gears .

nice turbo 6 . I never seen a turbo 6, that's different.

Loots of work right there!keep at it!:)
All done with turbos, now traction problem.Car ran 10.08 at 134 with 10 psi boost spinning the tires.

My EV hat is open , I ordered it that way but thanks for the input. My meth is located in the truck , I have a Sol so it won't drain back on a hill. Filling your motor with meth wouldn't be a good thing.
