I've encountered a problem with motor mounts, on my 65 Barracuda restoration. My fender tag and broadcast sheet indicates that my engine is a 225. (20) I ordered the left and right motor mounts based on that information. A2265 (left) and A2264 (right). When they arrived it was obvious the were not like the ones that are in the car now...A2303 (left) and A2304 (right), these are being shown to be for the 170. I haven't checked the engine serial number...didn't give it a thought to see if it had been changed out. Am I dealing with an engine swap, or a parts problem?

You are dealing with a aftermarket Part Manual srew up. The correct "Insulators" (mounts), for either the 170 or 225 slant six in a 63-66 "A" Body are the A2203 and A2204.
The mounts you recieved (A2265, A2264) are for a 67-72 "A" body (plus other applications). This is a common problem with the part catalogs. The catalogs are correct for a Dodge Dart, but incorrect for a Valiant/Barracuda. I gave up years ago, telling the parts suppliers the catalogs are wrong.

Thanks Guys...Yep! memike, that's what's in there. The 2203 and the 2204 will be here Monday (as soon as I got the others, I re-ordered) and I'll send the others back. We have the same problems with some of the aircraft parts we order.
