All the for sale ads...

I am on other forums that are not car related. Check out Thumpertalk.com. they have a classified section that does not feed with the regular forums. Aka you only see sale items when you are looking for them. Just an idea.

Sounds familiar. LOL

I suppose if you would have read and comprehended my first comment correctly, there would have been no need to infer that I accused you of anything.

See its all about communication.....what we had hear today was a failure to communicate.......

I had made a suggestion on the old site about setting it up like the politics forum. Those that want to see it sign up and those that don't, don't............

Those that are looking for information get pushed back pages rather quickly

Not going to happen. The For Sale forums are the biggest draw for new members. I can see that in the site statistics.

Originally on your part.

There should be a rule on how many ads you can bump within a certain time limit to avoid the bombing of recent posts or home page...But the ads do not bother me it is what brought me to this site...I bought a lot for my darts (Total see joey point ,it good for his business and it is his)...Just missing the guys and threads of the past....Not much to read but for sale threads.....and I scrolled.

Which is what I would like to do, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do it automatically. Just saying it would make a lot of work for the mods.

I don't really have a problem with the way the ads display.....

...but there are a couple of members that are selling dozens of parts (and some kind of ridiculous trinkets) that bump all 36 plus ads at one time.

I agree, they are a little annoying - on the other hand, I have seen ads and ultimately made purchases of items that I didn't even know I needed/wanted... ya can't tell not knowing

Jeeeez people-----Talk about your first world problems! Be thankful you have a place to go to for A-bodies that has the quality and care that Joey & the Mods give this site. Sometimes someone posts a part for sale that we need. They are easy to scroll past so quit whining about such a small thing and worry about what really matters-------pick your hot button-------------there are so many---------------
I'm happy its Friday, another weekend of working on my Barracuda coming soon-------------------:)

...and the trinket items I'm referring to have been for sale since 2012!

My scroll-finger gets tired, when I get behind. By page 4, I am getting forearm cramps. By page 6, I am still finding unreplied to threads. But I can hardly type anymore. By 8 or 10, you poor guys that didn't get a response, likely won't .......

You are correct in that this is a first world problem. I just think maybe some tweaking of the format might be a good idea. I may be wrong. For the record I do really enjoy our forum and the moderators do a great job.

I guess the only other suggestion I could suggest is please have sellers post there location in the title. Many of the items in our hobby are best for pick up only. I won't buy a core engine block for my car that is in Tennessee when I live in California. The same block within in a couple of hours from my house is worth the road trip. When I do see something in the sale pages that peaksucks my interest in am often disappointed to see it is to far to be woth buying. Not saying the format has to be changed but at least require the seller to list location like you require them to list the price and picture.
