Any 1967-69 Barracuda owners near Philadelphia or Wilmington? My dad turns 92 this week and he still yearns to see his favorite car again (67 fastback pale yellow – later my first car). He never sees one at car shows, and although I have dreams of finding one to buy or fix up, at this point I’d like to find someone who can give him a ride in any Cuda A body style while he can still see well enough to really enjoy it! He’s a WWII Vet who loves to go dancing at the senior centers, and actually still drives during the day. He knows nothing of my idea – yet. I’d be happy to pay for gas, etc.

Wish I had one to give your dad a ride, as being a Vet alone he deserves that thrill again. Someone with a CUDA, come on and step up!

Thanks for the bump! He just turned 94 - so, my request still stands! I bought him an old fish hood emblem and he made a bolo out of it! Wears it to car shows.

Your a good son my friend, taking care of dad! I'm originally from Philly, and took care of my mother until her passing at age 93 4 yrs. ago. I miss her every single day! Taking care of our parents is simply "THE RIGHT THING TO DO" even though so many in our society don't "GET IT"!!! God will reward you, and God bless!!

New member here just happening to find this topic while wandering through the forums.

I live near Newark, DE and have a 1967 Barracuda Formula S Fastback. It was originally my Great Uncle's car that I just finished having restored this spring. He was also a WWII vet.

I'm doing some fueling and engine work right now, but expect to have her back on the road within 2 weeks. PM me if you'd like to set something up. It'd be my pleasure to help out.

Way to step up Formula67! And on top of that in your uncle's cuda who was also a WW2 vet, SUPERB, and hat's of to you sir!!!!!

I have a 67 Barracuda convertible that I would be happy to give him a ride in.
Formula67 and I are PMing and he will let me know when he gets his fish back on the road. Let me know when you are coming over to PA (he lives between Wilmington and West Chester and I live in North Carolina) and I will help arrange this. Thank you!

Here he is with the bolo he made from the hood emblem I got on eBay.

I'll see what we can do. Who knows, maybe I'll come up from NC too and be part of the surprise!

I'm so glad you brought this topic back to the top otherwise I never would have seen it and have the opportunity to help out!

I could probably do it most weekend days. Maybe we can get a MOPAR convoy going? Make it a parade for your dad! Let me know what dates work for you guys.

Very cool what's happening here! Way to go guys. I have a great pic of my 94 year old Gramma going for a ride in dads 67 cuda a couple years ago around somewhere

By all means try and find the pic and post it so we can get this thing to go viral!! Keep up the good work guys!!!

Happy to report that Formula67 gave my 94 year old Dad a ride in his '67 this past Sunday! It was awesome for all parties! I am so grateful to this group for providing the opportunity! Wish I had been there.

It was awesome that I was able to be a part of this. Such a pleasure to meet your father, talk some old car stuff, and go for a ride. I could tell he was excited to finally see a 67 Fastback after all those years. If I can make someone that excited by going for a ride in my car, I'd do it everyday.

Very Awesome! We have a great community here. And tell your Father thanks for serving our Country.

Fantastic job Formula67, you are an awesome guy! Yes, thank you to the senior gentleman for serving our country! God bless good car guys!!

I will send along your thanks for his service in WWII - here he is in 1941 at Fort Bragg. This could be the year he gives up his driver's license - this Cuda reunion was so timely! Another Mopar I remember he had was a brown 1970 Fury with brown paisley vinyl top! I learned to drive in a 1964 Fury - manual, with no power steering or power brakes - that was a handful!
