My 69 Dart build.

Started working on the car again. Rad support is welded in and i ran some 3'4 square tube for the bracing/fender mounts. Hung the fenders just to make sure everything lined up and it looks pretty good. Mounted the pedals. The steering column shouldn't have to come out again. Ordered a rear inner valance and rear deck cowl. There's a piece of flat tin that runs across the back where the bumper brackets mount. This will probably be the next piece replaced. I just plan on using a piece of flat steel.

Floor and tubs are here! I'm just waiting for the drivers side quarter to come. I'm picking up my buddy's rotisserie this weekend and I'll basically have all the sheet metal done aside from the hood and trunk but that'll be fiber glass. Getting anxious. On a side note, I'm making a trip out to Ohio Saturday to go pickup the bed for the 51 ford.

Now it's a hovercraft! Finishing the welding on the back half, going to rear the transmission cross member and install the rear floor

Just making sure the wheel still fits. There's a 2 in gap between the top of the tire and the tub and the jack ran out of travel. I'm pretty happy

Since I've been doing mostly fab work right now I've ordered all the parts to finish my rear up. Thread on studs, bearings, gasket and a spool. Interesting stuff. I ordered green bearings and couldn't figure out why they fit so loose. Apparently its a 8.75 housing and axle tube but has ford ends. So it uses the 8.75 center but Ford 9 axles and bearings.

Well the motor is now sitting in. The Schumacher mounts didn't line up perfect but I was able to finagle it a little bit to clear everything. Had to notch the k frame so that will be boxed in. Another note, ordered the wrong MC adaptor plate and now need an offset on lol. But the scattershield will be here Wednesday and I'll get the trans in and make sure everything fits.

Been trying to do as much OT as possible at work and my shift changed so now I work 12p to 9p so I haven't a lot of time to work on the car. Now I'll be going overnight so we'll see how this plays out. I started working on the trunk gutters. I got the drivers side out and the new gutters just sitting there

Scored this kit for $120 shipped and it's new! With some shelf wear. This will only be temporary as I don't think it will hold the power but will get the car moving

Scored a steal of a deal on this guy!

Also got the pass side trunk gutter off just need to clean up the underside and mock the new gutters in place

So put the tunnel ram on for test fitting and it's a no go. Because of the size of my intake ports I need an Indy intake for max wedge ports. Also I got my rockers cut. Now I just need all the ships and we'll be moving along. Just sent the nice people over at Summit $700 so this thing will be super close to being able to fire for the first time!
