Links work for me.

In order for each racer to make changes to the live document, each racer will need a microsoft account. Just an FYI.

Looks good though!

i'm computer dumb. I may have to edit the spreadsheet as racers post. It's a miracle I've made it this far..... LOL....

Yep both links worked for me. If I can get my car running right I might have to enter.

I may have the largest amount for the penalty box , the .8 for aluminum heads is a killer
I got docked .4 for taking a dremel to the stock 1.78/1.50 318 heads, and lost compression due to thicker head gaskets in the process, so don't feel too bad.... LOL

You probably got your .8's back in flow, compression, and weight. I figured most people that have them probably have a better planned "package" to take advantage of the money in the heads and a more serious build.

So far looks like my dial is gonna be 12.90 but haven't weighed car yet. It's a bit portly so maybe I'll get back a tenth or two.

Withdrawl: I have decided to withdraw from this RACE. I am sitting here thinking that I do not want to risk 3.5 years work and $25K on the slim chance that I may create a problem with the car by participating.

Thanks anyway

I respect your decision, but if I put even 10k of 25k into the drivetrain I'd not be satisfied if my car couldn't survive a 1/4 mile pass. Hopefully by the end of the year your new car/build ? Will have proven it's self worthy....

I have tested her all out. I just do not want to drive all the way across the valley to run a 1/4 mile that I can do here. If I have a problem here. I fix it. If I have a problem across the valley it is $100 or more to tow it home. Not willing to take that chance for a timed run.
I know how fast she it

I started with- and now end with- I respect your decision...

Don't get upset, I wasn't. I was just explaining myself. If I sounded like a jerk, well that is my nature. don't take offense

Incase anybody was wondering how this race rolled out, the thread in the link below is the thread that led to this thread in the racers forum.
ATTENTION 318 owners: any interest???

As time goes on (and weather gets nicer), there will be more posting of cars that entered (like post #2) right here in the racer forum and we'll have great conversations about each others cars like we would in person at the drag strip/or car show :)
I might learn a tip or two....

P.S. - Hoping to make a pass sometime in April. I'm doubting I'll hit 14.60's right away, but I'm hoping to hit or exceed before it's over :p
when I first got the low dollar (under 500.00) 318 running last year, I made a pass at 15.20 at about 94 mph, with real bad stumble out of the hole. I'll get to tweaking on it (as I was super busy last summer) and hopefully move it towards the 14.60 mark.

Are there a limited amount of actual ET submissions? Or just best of 2017?
Make as many passes as you like! You can do one and done, or you can race it all spring/summer/fall long and keep posting your best time to date. :) It will make great conversation to share what made the improvements.
I'm going to go back a few times for sure.... not just because of this race, but because it's fun :D

Also, anyone can change the car as they go, just adjust according to the penalty box. Example, feel free to go from 2.94's to 3.91's, or from a stock converter to a street converter, just state the change and adjust the dial index accordingly.

We all can see what changes made what differences....

I have a few parts still in boxes. If everything goes as planned I'm going to make at least 1 run after every addition. Right now I'm stock. First thing I'll be adding is headers. Should be a decent improvement

Well my wife's going to need some practice for the car she will be eventually racing so we will be taking the Durango out within the next couple weeks and easily be able to pull up quite a few Time Slips with it. With its known weight and known motor and everything very extremely stock and known it should be quite a decent Baseline.

Cool.... make a post for your car (pictures are nice) and we'll get your post #and Dial index in the chart. :D

Things are changing fast in the jpar compound. Might have a different entry....
EDIT: Second entry 73 duster
