Probably a long shot but i'm searching for the original numbers 340 and 727 trans for my 1970 Swinger 340. If you can help, contact me for vin# info. Thank!

It's not totally unrealistic. I recovered the 383 for my 71 Challenger RT after it was parted out 20 years previous. But I knew the area the car originally came from so that gave me a target. I also knew that Mopar guys are Mopar guys so the engine was likely pulled and stored or used as opposed to being discarded.

I just would like to have the engine and trans the car was on with. Probably never happen but you never know unless you try.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did just that and found an old for sale ad from 2011 which had some contact info of the owner at that time. I sent an email to him and hope to hear back.

My car was in the Glasgow Kentucky area back in 2011.

The contact email I found was no longer in service...
