So my 318 was getting hot on the highway. ..above 225.... I decided to get a bigger better radiator.
Reading here I learned that in 1970, small block mopar water pumps switched to the driver's side. My engine is a 1974 so a standard 68 radiator would not work. A little looking around and I found this Champion model for a 70's Duster.....CC526

I ordered it but long story short, FedEx screwed up so I drove a few miles to the Champion headquarters.

The pictures are just Mopar ****...you all know how to swap a radiator. ..!
This thing cools awesome. ...I need a good hot day to get up on the freeway and really test it, but I believe my cooling issue should be solved.

It fit perfectly and looks great too!

Very happy so far.....I'll update when it gets hot here in SoCal. ...won't be long!

Looks good!

Will you be at Show and Go tomorrow in Downtown Riverside?

I've had great luck with Champions. I think you'll like it :)

Another vote for Champion. Here's my three row. It keeps my 408 right at 200 degrees.

Didn't even know about it...!
Any details? Supposed to rain.....ugh

Jeff

Yeah, just saw the rain moved up from Sunday to today =/

Was planning on driving the Dart up this morning considering I'm already registered, but not driving it after all.

Oh and FYI, I'm not running a shroud with my electric fan/Champion 4 Row set up and I'm at 180 all day.

Looks good. Same one I put on my 'Cuda. I just wish they made a shroud that would work on our car.

The fan/shroud combo is part number CC526AS.....

Jeff
Pretty sure somebody tried that shroud. I think it was Roy. It doesn't work with our SB. Think it is the way our engine's our offset. I might have to fab one. I like to have a shroud.

I've got a 440.
How's that work ?

Your right I bought mine with the electric fan and the shroud, There is no way it would work as the hole in the shroud is dead center of the radiator. It hit my water pump pulley. I wound up mounting the fan to the radiator, off center. You can see that in the picture. Now If you make your own shroud and mount the fan off center it MIGHT work. But as you can tell the lip with the shroud mounting holes is very thick which moves the shroud/fan way back away from the radiator. I bought the 3 core Champion.
