What's the best way to update front suspension. Any thoughts on tube type k-members like AJE . Car is going to be street car.

The K-frame isn't very heavy, so doubt you would save much weight w/ a tube type. Tubular upper control arms have adjustable mounts so you can set caster better for radial tires. With the factory UCA, you must use Moog offset bushings to get caster right. Forget the PST poly LCA bushings. They seemed hokey since the LCA could then slide backwards, and I recall PST even stopped selling them. Some people cut off the factory frame rails and weld on a coil-over suspension kit, I think some w/ rack & pinion steering, but >$3000 and irreversible. I recall some that bolt on instead, but I don't venture in those play-pens.

It all depends what how you're going to drive the car and what you want out of it? IMO the stock Chrysler suspension is pretty good as is (when is good condition). Again What do you want to get out it?

I'd just rebuild what you got. Things like anti-sway bars, adjustable control arms, poly bushings, frame connectors, and other things like larger wheels may make it handle better, but will stiffen the ride a good bit as well. Brakes would be a good upgrade if not anything else.

Some of the mods I did on my 65 where front and rear anti-sway bars, sub frame connectors, 17" performance tires and big front disc brakes and car handles and stops pretty good for an old girl. The ride is a on the stiff side but it's barable. I also aready had tge heavy-duty suspension in the car to begin with

Rebuild the stock suspension, equip it with shocks, torsion bars and a sway bar matched to your tastes, add Street type Wilwood disc brakes, and you will be happy and can have a 4.5 bolt circle to boot!

this is my 65 dart. i went this way to get rid of my torsion bars. i was unable to pass up the price. i was going to with a rack setup but felt this would. if you are interested in something like this contact hemi denny.

Hi, I was wondering how you like this kit? I'm thinking of getting it for my 63 Dart. Did it come with the coils or did you have to buy extra?

Thanks

What lights: bezels or lenses? stiffer torsion bars help. sub frame connectors really help.
