Great job love your car. I've picked up a few ideas for mine especially like your door cards

Thanks Ben. She came real close to being parted out by previous owner. Saw her potential and decided to do a budget build and save the old gal.
Has been a fun project.

Fabricated my spare tire well board, got pillar & roof trim installed and finally got seat belts in today.

That car is fantastic!

Thanks so much.
Still much to do but she has come a very long way in a yr. and is now only a steering coupler rebuild away from seeing regular cruise duty and a battery disconnect switch away from going to northeast dragway for a test n tune run.
Need to get her out of my car port work area and take some full pictures of the old girl.

Got steering coupler rebuilt then took her out for a nice cruise today. Finally took some better pictures out in the sun.
Still a lot to do but she is roadworthy and definitely hauls azz.

Been driving her a good bit recently to work out bugs.
Discovered fuel pump was sending 9 psi to my edelbrock carb(way to much) so installed a regulator & gauge. Huge difference now.
Ceramic coating on headers was showing age so freshened them up with some vht flame proof and started polishing her wih sand paper to bring out patina a little more. lol.

Fabricated some kick panels for Dart today. They are shorter on the back than factory so my fuse-able links can be accessed without removng em.
Just a budget hotrod but now im mulling over painting her & what color or just leaving her be.

Finally got my homemade kick panels installed. After driving her did not like tach on steering column or line lock button on shifter. Switched to a tach under dash moved line lock tap button to steering column and just added a single oil pressure gauge as all stock gauges amazingly work. All she really needs and much less clutter.
Going to go ahead and add carpet then interior will be basic/ but perfect for this bone rattler.lol.

Scored a complete set of sill plates from 65 Dartman( thanks Don ).
Cleaned em up today and installed the outside plates.
Hopefully my carpet will arrive next week and interior will be done after gettin carpet and inner sills installed.

Can you give some specifics on the door cards and what materials you used? I need to do the same and would rather do it myself than buy something off the shelf.

Waterproof panelboard (32 x 48) . My local lowes stocks them.
They are cut with templetes to correct size then scuffed. Mine are then coated with truck bedliner spray. Added original trim from my fubared original. They are installed with a screw holding each side at bottom.
Not for everyone but each one cost me only $12 in supplies.
