Hi ,looking for some ideas for speaker location for a fold down back seat duster, share what you have done or what you are doing, thanks Mark

When i had my dart, my cerwin vega 15" woofer house speakers, were in the trunk. Pioneer gm120 driving them.that puppy rocked!
Will be building a panel for the Barracuda. At that time,my sister couldnt handle driving highway speeds due to a nervous condition. After driving my car for 2 weeks driving in the summer, winows down and volume up she overcame the the problem. 26 years ago.

Way back when...... LOL

2, 6x9's with a 12 inch sub woofer. 1 amp to drive the sub and one for the pair. A good EQ up front to help sound balancing. The amps had built in hi-lo pass filters. The stereo amp was a Pioneer @ 90 rms/ 180 max watts, the sub amp was a Kenwood at 100/200 watts. Could be hurtful at full volume.
No front speakers.

If I were to re do it today, I would rethink the lay out to retain the useage of the fold down panel I think. Not that it gets used much.

that is what I'm trying to do,I want to keep the fold down panel working. Not alot of places to put speakers. Mark

Watching this thread as I'm in the same boat. Hope to get an idea for something other than package shelf mount.

I put my 6x9'a in the back panel of my 68 barracuda fastback... they were positioned so I could put the panel down without hurting the speaker... I also put metal grilles on the front to help protect them from stuff that I was hauling...
