Chocolate or Vanilla? Both are personal opinions and neither of them are wrong IMO
Why argue...I have the solution!

I'm still wondering what everyone is doing to bend their rims when running low profile tires?

My daily drivers have had 30 & 40 Series for about 20 years now and 50 series before that. probably racked up a million miles over 35 years...

Never have bent a rim?

(BTY Mustang GT's come with 18, 19 & 20 inch rims. If you've got 17 inch rims its a V6).

No,2 94 mustang gt's . On hardtop one convetrtable. 1 automatic,h.o. 5.0 and 1 h.o. 5.0 5 speed factory 17" rims. A 5.0 h.o. Isn't a v6. But of course you know more than I do about what I drive and what I had...... Btw, 1 was canyon red and the ragtop was teal or am I wrong about MY colors too...??Besides I didn't ask what you did. My Daughter at 16 was going to school and hit a chuck hole. Bent a rim and blew out a tire sidewall. City of Muncie had to pay for it. I bent 2 rims on country roads, although driving fast.... Oh but wait! You already know that too huh? To me 17's are overrated. See my previous experiences with the newer Charger with the 18's. Oh never mind, you know my experiences better than me...DA.

Yes, because thats exactly how you go about getting other members to help you when you have a question....NOT.

Sounds a little far fetched on the "bent rim" story. I've had way more cars than you, spun them out at speeds over 120 mph, hit pot holes before and have never bent a rim?

I've had Camaro's, Firebird's , Mustang's, Corvette's and german exotics. Never bent a single rim.

By the way you claimed you had a new Mustang GT, a 1994 is 23 years old.

It's OK to suffer from big rim envy. You little dude's have a place too.

The same places & ways all of the bent ones that come thru the dealership Sport, they be hittin' ****. I charge .5hr. to pre-owned sales to tweak 'em back to decent &
rebalance, if I can. But since You are obviously floating on air while farting glitter, You must have wings,...big rims, little..................................

A2014 charger on 18's isn't 24 years old. It my Daughters charger.she hates the ride. Now she's building a mopar smoker. A 69 Camaro with LS3 power....and probably a better ride too. She's not using 17's or 18's. Lol! Sounds like we have another genius amongst us. He been thru it all, done it all, bigger, faster and more than anyone else. I'm so blessed to be in his good graces. He even speaks to me! Im so blessed! How did all this **** storm happen anyway from a post that said is there any GOOD reason to go from sbp to bbp mopar. Obviously not cause several are trying to buy my worthless ity bity sbp setup. Too much
Geretol. Btw, you can't read. I never said the 94's were new or the 2014. Just that they were factory equipped with 17's and 18's. DA..... Done.

And you were given several reason why people went or stayed with SBP or BBP...

What's funny is I looked you up on here in another post and you were arguing in that one too. You claimed you had a brand new Mustang GT, and now you don't. You're just full of **** and I called you out.

Elsewhere, you are arguing about keeping superior drum brakes? What's so great about 489 cast rear carriers? And so it goes with internet warriors. All talk and made up stories.

You asked the question, so you can argue.

You're just a nerd and I seriously doubt your daughter is building a '69 Camaro while she's in high school.

She's not in high school now. That was 10 years ago. You read and interpret things that or as you want. I never said it was now,I didn't say a 94 mustang was new now.i did say the 2014 charger was hers. Not too many 16 year olds have them. My past arguments While none of your business are from people like you that start em. I simply asked a question, not for attitude. I see why people on Facebook mopar forums blast this site. I'm asking no more opinions. I'll stick to the parts for sale section. Maybe then I don't have to deal with people like u.... Oh sorry,I meant you in case your illiterate to and wonder what I'm saying by the letter u..... Perhaps too old to interpret things correctly??? Dunno.

Couldnt be much easier.

Well, here's my 2 cents worth........
I never have liked the SBP on these cars.
I've been working on them now for over 35 years and i need to say that SBP stuff is barely adequate at best.
From the smaller wheel studs to the smaller ball joints, factory wheels only available in 14X51/2'' width, smaller registers, more expensive parts, etc. i think that they should have been discontinued after the '66 model year.
Everything about SBP is substandard to the BBP set ups started in '73. Even the highly coveted SBP disc brakes leave a lot to be desired.
Change a car over to BBP, and you have an easily available parts selection including factory and aftermarket wheels.
All with the added bonus of it all being stronger as well.
Every one of the cars i do in the future will have BBP or will be converted to it if it already doesn't have it.
Leave the SBP stuff for the resto crowd...........

You asked a question where the answer is going to be the respondents opinion, then you argue with them that you never asked for their opinion. You're a frickin' morron!

I stated I never had bent rims from having low profile tires. Then you stated, for a person who hates low profile tire you claim to own a lot of vehicles that had them and they all bent. Once again you being a frickin' morron started name calling and arguing with me.

Elsewhere you claim to be a bully and want to beat up others for there opinion that you asked for.

Here's the deal. I would meet you any day face to face to sort out your mouth or fat typin' fingers. You'd lose. But I can't beat the stupid out of someone like you. So, it would just be for my amusement and fun, both of which I have done before.
