Is it just me, or do the exhaust ports look SMALL?

Jesus---not for long!. It is clearly a closed chamber--where is the piston going to go? **** me, J.Rob

So the same would be for the Magnum EQ heads? What about gasket thickness, notching or clearancing?

With a thick enough head gasket to get the chamber above the pistons they would, but that may cause other issues. If you can get your piston tops cut to zero deck that is a better way to go.

That’s normal biz.
When I was a kid working a off season (Christmas time) job at the old “Sterns” stores (They were like Sears or JC Penny) I was in the back store room moving goods around to put out for there sales for Christmas.

A box loaded with suites the store routinely sold for $100 we’re lined up to be opened up and readied for sale. The packaging invoice was still on the boxes.

Stearns sold each suite with the “On Sale” price of $100 & the invoice clear stated each suite cost them $10!

This was found to be the norm not only in Stearns but other stores as well that I worked at when I was younger. That’s mark up and that’s normal.

Go get friendly with a actual car dealer owner. Be prepared to throw up at mark up.

If the guy your dealing with has a $100 mark up, that’s his biz. But I doubt it even if you share everything with him. I don’t care how close you are to him or how great of a good fella you believe he is. If those heads sell for $3500 from Trick Flow, then on the shelf they will sit.

Of course, there is always the fool with more money than brains.

Check with Summit for the real pricing (if it is released yet) but remember they aren't supposed to be ready until around late spring. I'll bet they are between $999 and $1100 each complete. That will be fully CNC ported and with valves, springs and retainers that you won't have to throw in the trash. You will pay that much for the CNC work alone from somewhere good like Modern Cylinder Head.

Are those going to need W2/W5 exhaust flange headers or std flange?

Well I stand corrected must have been tired when I was talking to my friend cost should be around $2200.00..about $500.00 more then the ones he is coming out with..he'll get all the correct info when attending PRI next month..

One of the nice things about TF stuff. The valve jobs are usually really good. Unlike a lot of the other stuff out there.
