What wheels on your 8.8?

The 17x9 on back I had to use 3/8 spacers to push the wheels out. I still have about 1/2 clearance to the quarters. I do have offset leafs. I bought the spring perches from 4 wheel parts. They have just about everything for an 8.8. I used the 8 3/4 hangers

Yeah there's a few that think they should stay all Mopar but for the most part it seems pretty well received going by the number of 8.8 swap posts on here. As soon as one of them wants to put up the cash for an 8 3/4 I will. Haha.

Most of those guys who complain about things like 8.8" Ferd swaps either bought/built their cars when Mopar axles assemblies were more plentiful...or they're rich. The 8.8 is a damn good axle and they're actually available in most boneyards.

Ha!! I love the Autobot logo. I'm not a fan of the 2007-2017 movies but the 80s kid in me is thrilled by that. :D

Ha! That's great!
Thundercats, Voltron, GoBots, G.I.Joe, He-Man...those were good days.

I don't know about you but the Transformers were one more way for me to get cars into my life as a kid. I couldn't ever get enough. :D

I have a '73 Dart and a rear end out of a 1998 mustang that I believe is 61" if I remember right or just short of. either way to the outside of the fender I have 4.5 to the flange.. I really wanted to get away with not having to shorten the axle I bought 245/60 r15s to put all the way around and was told by my local tire shop a 4.5" backspace would fit but I'm doubting that. I plan on rolling the fenders and i already have us car tools leaf relocation kit in it. I wanted to go with vintiques. I found their 38 series has 5" backspacing. any help would be awesome

You can order weld wheels w/ about any backspace u want . Plus they are liter and reduce weight, "if that matters to u ."

Started this then forgot to post up pics after we got my son's car finished. 14x6 front, 15x7 rear Cragar SS.
