Looking for a /6 builder in Florida

looking for someone with experience to do a rebuild/performance upgrade on a 62’ aluminum block /6 in Florida. I live near Tampa, but will travel to get this done.

I know the head gasket would have to be custom, since it’s an aluminum block and the regular /6 gasket does not work with the aluminum block.

Please Let me know if you find a builder, I also have a 62 Lancer with an aluminum block that I'd like to get rebuilt. I'm in New Orleans and a drive to FL wouldn't be to far. Thanks!

Have you pulled the head to inspect the top of the block? The biggest problem with the aluminum blocks was corrosion at the top, which can make the block unusable. Mopar spec'ed a special coolant, but you know how that was observed especially by 2nd owners. Read up on slantsix.org about the special head gasket. People there had a group buy, but probably long used up.
