Just wanted to know who's running a Fitech system. I'm considering going FI. Any input on the system is appreciated.

Some of the guys up here are running them and really like em, and especially the self learning/tuning part.
They still ***** about the whole 02 sensor install though.:D

Considering one of the 600hp kits myself actually, but I'm not ready yet.
I have done quite a bit of research on them and for the money they look like a great product as well as a great deal.

I'm almost certainly going this route when money allows. Self tuning, adaptability to changing conditions, better MPG and the idea of not dumping raw fuel out of the tail pipes at idle is a huge appeal.

How did you guys pick FITech over Holley, etc? There are a few to choose from.

Did you guys change over the ignition system to allow for timing control too?

I'm pretty happy with mine on a crossram small block stroker. It's not as refined as a OEM system, but it's superior to a carburetor for sure.

I am needing to go another size up for fitech.
I have the 600 hp version willing to sell to upgrade. Part number 30002
I need at least $850 from it.

My new engine should be in the 750 hp category.
This build will be shown in a future pending time :)

still liking mine on a 340/418 stroker. Mine is a first release GoEFI-4-600hp (30002).

Never had any of the common issues that pop up other than RPM noise. I resolved that by simply routing the coil to ECU wire outside the harness bundle, with aluminum tape shielding.

I did upgrade to an MSD distributor and run timing control via FiTech. Nice to have the base timing low for hot starts, and higher initial to keep things crisp.

I went with the FCC and like it as well. I still have it installed as originally designed with the fuel deadheading, but I plan to modify the vent line as a true return once I have a little spare time.

Nice to tinker with AF/Timing without ever popping the hood.

Nice to simply BUMP the key, ice cold or roasting hot, and have her light instantly with no complaining.

Would def buy again.

There is also a great Facebook tuning group, that can help with support and install.

I was unsure which one to go with (Fitech or Holley) BUT after reading about the Holley, it appears that more folks are having trouble with their sensors (TPS & CTS) mainly. So I am back to the Fitech, which really has great reviews and most problems are install error.

Had a Go EFI Poweradder 600 HP on my supercharged 340. I had considerable issues with the RPM noise errors but I fixed that by shielding the distributor pickup wire with tin foil inside of a wire casing and wrapping stainless steel wire around it and running the wire to ground. I will be running this on my new stroker. I will say that although it is "self learning" don't think that it won't need any tweaking by you, it will. All in all once tuned they run awesome.

Here’s the kit for the 3008 FiTech.

I'd like to hear how you arrived at this?

Don't forget, there ARE others besides Holley and FItech

I am a member of both groups on FB. That is just what I have read by folks who are using the units. You're right there are others for sure.

I’m interested in EFI and beings as you know more about these FiTe h kits than I, which would be your recommendation? Motor is a mildly modified 360 bored with a cam. I’ve been looking at the 3008 Mainstreet kit, but I’m open to ideas.

Here is a chart that helped me decide.

Thanks on that. I had noticed the lack of timing control today, that would be important to me too.
