OK thanks. By the part number it's for the big Dodge/Plymouth models - will pass on it.

Got it straight from my 65 parts manual. Looked it up by part number 2580 488 which referred it as Code 1-48-7 which is in Section 1 - Accessories. 1-48-7 is listed under 1-48-0 Heater and Components. That section is called Tubes and Connectors, Heater Control. That part number - 2580 488 - is shown only for the big Dodge, Plymouth and Chrysler. For the B Bodies they list a different part number - 2496 010 and none for the A Body nor Imperial. 65 B and C Body heater controls were vacuum operated and so by the part number it’s for the big Dodge/Plymouth to operate the heater controls. When equipped with factory AC a different set of vacuum hoses were used. Hope this helps.

Yes very much thank you ,but I wonder why a big block would be different?

The parts manual doesn’t mention motor size at all since those hoses are for the heater. The heater is the same whether it was a big block, Poly, 273 or slant in those big cars.

Oh I misread your post guess I better delete, this thread then if won't fit,an a body
If I can figure out how lol!

I might let the ad run; many members have different vehicles in addition to the A Body. I would edit the title and/or ad to reflect what it fits.
