Does any body know where to find the rectangular black plastic sockets that hold a tube style bulb? None of the popular restoration houses carry them. Any idea would be appreciated.

If I remember correctly I used LEDs and the sockets that came with them. Been a while.... But I got lotsa light in the car now !

Sorry I dont. The are the fuse style bulbs and sockets... It was a real head scratcher since I redid an empty rolling shell and had no referance to start with.

M&H wiring harnesses has them. They are pricey only in shipping and handling as they sell the actual piece very cheaply.

Do yourself a favor and only use LED bulbs in them unless showing at an event. Heat kills them! And make sure your insulator in the pocket of the c-pillar is in tact! If not some double sided sticky tape or 3M body tape will work fine.

I got these LED units at Walmart and run very cool and lots of light.. I have a set of original 110’s and have not needed them as yet and honestly do not want to.

Yep. . No heat and very bright.

Not to mention the original bulbs pull up to 2 amps each. The
LED’s pull nothing. So there is no guess were the heat originates!

I need (1) glass housing to go on there. One of the ears on mine broke, so it only hangs halfway on.

I have some extras in that box with the ignition bezel....lol
I will put them in the package...

Lol, thanks! I tried Google crossing the Sylvania 211-2 and didn't find a brand name replacement.
Be sure to shoot me a total!
Thanks

Have you got a part #? I'm looking to upgrade from the original Sylvania 211-2.
Thanks!

These are what I am using. The originals are 110’s and very hard to find and when you do they are pricey. True festoons the 110’s are.

Awesome thanks!

It is a white light and very different from the yellow tint of a 211, I think you will be happy and can leave your doors open for a long time and not worry about the battery discharging or the sockets melting.

Always tell everyone to make sure the tabs on the bezel are intact and be sure the gasket is on the bezel, cause they will slide around without it and surely touch the pink lead, leading to a short and blown fuse at best. The bezels need to be tight when twisted on. Got a few extras thanks to @barracudakid (aka Eddy) having the foresight to saving little things like that. When you drive with a heavy foot like me electrical shorts will ruin your cruising time!

Dude, your paint is Killer.

Thank you for noticing and thanks to Hodge Restorations and their team for the work. I had given them my interior garnish panels to make sure it matched the upper door frames. My sorry butt could not produce paint and body work like Le provided me! The rest is easy but that part is over my head.

I have 1 extra lens and bezel if that is what you need.

I need one, it's the part that goes right on the picture you posted. I have one that only has one of the mouting ears so it won't lock on anymore. Where'd you get the little gasket at?

Let me know how much you want for it.

Thanks

Do you have vendor or PN# for the socket in the picture? I think lot of people could use that. Factory ones are brittle and break. Thanks,

Bryan
