Jason's (prorac2) Birthday present. New wheels for his restoration project 1963 valiant.

As you can see he's quite smitten with his torque thrusts!

Who wouldn't be. Where did you find those in small bolt pattern to fit a Valiant?? Or have you converted it to big bolt pattern. I've been wanting a set for my '67 Barracuda and I was told they aren't available anymore!

nice to see someone his age have good taste in wheels

tell him i said happy birthday

And a very happy birthday it is for prorac2! And a Nirvana t-shirt... Not horrible! looks like you raised one of the good ones. Congrats to you.

a little tip ...you should probably bolt them down before the center caps go on ..... I have some just like those hehe

Dammit man!
Tell him Happy Birthday.
Ever since I decided to end up with those kind of wheels everything I see has them.:D

They make a wheel real close to that and I have been looking at those in an 18.
Here they are in a 17" 4.5 pattern. American Racing VN309 Torq-Thrust Original Vintage Silver Painted Wheels VN3097865

Thank you. We converted the front to BBP with 1974 E body brakes. And the rear with the 8.8 Explorer axle conversion.

I noticed that the centercap would interfere with the socket. The caps are just on for fun. I had to. Lol.

Thank you. Me and his mother are very proud.

He just finished drivers training, is getting all A's and B's in school, is going to be in an improv comedy show tomorrow night for drama class, and saturday is going to the state finals for percussion solo ensemble.

And on top of it all is restoring a car with me and his grand father.

He really is a great kid. I couldn't be more proud.

Thank you. These are the VN105D.

The link you posted look almost identical to Jason's wheels.

eBay had a 20% off sale Friday. We bought them from summit racing and got 20% off. They were a smoking deal. I didn't want to buy them this soon, but with that deal we kinda had to. Lol.

Now to see how much tire we can wedge in there. 275/60/15 here we come. Lol

-- What size wheels and tires are those? Front and rear please. Looks great --
-- Front 15" X 6" Torq Thrust D wheels - 195/65-15" tires - disc brakes. --- Rear 15" X 7" Mopar steelies - 245/60-15" tires - drum brakes. -- BBP all around. --- Thanks.

Those will look great on that car! Tell him happy birthday.......we have March in common. Mine was the 8th.
