Craigslist 383 S Barracuda Not Mine

-
Original 340 car.

Now mildly customized with 383. Looks like some care and effort was made to make it very a functional driving car (custom shroud, seals, seats, clutch...)

Wonder if “9@ ford rear” is really an 8 3/4 ?

seems like a good buy for someone .

It’s been for sale for some time. 6mos to year. Seen it posted here or another Mopar site. Don’t remember if price lowered.

I don’t see the fender tag in any of the engine shots.

I just saw it on Craig’s list and thought it was good lead for someone out of his market

I agree.

Just always be careful and informed buying a 40 year old car especially particular models that command higher price that others.

Price was $23,500 a couple of weeks ago and $23,000 last week. I've been watching that ad. If it still had the 340, I probably would have jumped on it. Not too thrilled about a big block a body...

I like the car except for the seats and console.
They really look out of place in this car IMHO.

I don't mind the seats (I spent 27 years sliding around on my 66 Barracuda's flat stock "bucket" seats), but I agree that the console is weird and out of place.
