hi do I need to take the steering colume lose and back that out I see four bolts on the fire wall .
what is the best way ? Tyler

Slant or v8? I just did this on my 64 with a commando 273 and it was a pain in my ***! I pulled the drivers exhaust manifold, starter, steering wheel/shaft and lower control arm and it wasn’t easy to hold it up to bolt it back together either. I found having it up on jack stands was the easiest.

Just take the thing out. It's a 67 model. It will tell you how if you just look.

Hi v8 ..

Just replaced the power steering box on my 67 Dart with a 273 .Pulled starter, took nut off of drivers si
de motor mount, jacked up engine, pulled steering column, and let gravity help me take it out from underneath. Didn't have enough umph to lift new one from bottom, jacked up engine a little more and was able to lower it in from top, buggered up threads one one hole and had to pull it out to run a tap through it, then box back in.
