Got a Bee with locking lugs nuts. Can't find the tool to take off the nuts. Was my Dads car now he is gone... Any ideas???

They make a tool that clamps around them, kind of big though like a plug socket in width.

This is what I used on my PT cruiser. I bought it with 5 locking lug nuts on each wheel and no socket to remove them. An internet photo but its the same thing as what I used.

forget the fancy tools, take a 12 point socket that you don't care about, a cheap one works best, one that just is barely bigger than the locking lugs nuts, beat it on with a mini-sledge, then spin it off with a break bar or ratchet. That's what we did when i worked in the local tire store in highschool. I still do that to this day when i lose those lock lug tools.

How do you get the socket off to re-use it

Before you go to great lengths to remove them, look in the glove box, center console, trunk, tool bag etc

Most people keep the "key" somewhere in the car :)

Can you clamp a set of vise grips on it real tight, then use channel locks to twist the vise grips off with the locking lug nut???

Put it on a rotisserie and spin it until the lock falls out....

When I did tires we used to find them in the glove box 90% of the time....

High speed reverse and lock up the brakes? forward for left hand thread?

Not any more. It failed me when it hit 380000 kms. I actually liked that car. It drove me 120 miles a day to work and back for years. Not much left when I was done with it!

You know I'm just yanking your chain I never did like those cars, but to each their own LOL and to my own discredit I just bought a gas saving pile-o-crapola that I will need a bag to drive soon. If I ever get it running lol but anyways I'll start a little Thread about that soon.

What brand ? Most have master kits... We have them for Mcgaurds wheel locks.
Take a pic and post it.

I've taken them off using an impact chisel. Put the chisel edge on the OD of the locking nut and carefully drive it CCW (or CW on driver side on an old Mopar) with judicious pressure on the trigger. The key is not to blast it off but ease it around. Absolutely no cost if you already have the tools.

x2 on getting a pawn shop $1 deep socket that can be hammered over the lock lug.

doesn't even need to be 12 point

once it gets loose and unscrewed almost to the end you should be able to smack it at an almost 90* angle and knock it off.

kind of an art to get the right initial hammering to bite but not make it too difficult to smack off
