Got a Bee with locking lugs nuts. Can't find the tool to take off the nuts. Was my Dads car now he is gone... Any ideas???
forget the fancy tools, take a 12 point socket that you don't care about, a cheap one works best, one that just is barely bigger than the locking lugs nuts, beat it on with a mini-sledge, then spin it off with a break bar or ratchet. That's what we did when i worked in the local tire store in highschool. I still do that to this day when i lose those lock lug tools.Got a Bee with locking lugs nuts. How do you get the socket off to re-use itforget the fancy tools, take a 12 point socket that you don't care about, a cheap one works best, one that just is barely bigger than the locking lugs nuts, beat it on with a mini-sledge, then spin it off with a break bar or ratchet. stick it on the corner of a vice, take a small punch and hammer and tap it out, usually pops out on the first or second hit.How do you get the socket off to re-use it
Take it to a tire shop, with a fresh set if standard nuts. For a few bucks they will take care of it.Got a Bee with locking lugs nuts. Can't find the tool to take off the nuts. Was my Dads car now he is gone... Any ideas???
That was a rhetorical question.stick it on the corner of a vice, take a small punch and hammer and tap it out, usually pops out on the first or second hit.
or there is that ^Take it to a tire shop, with a fresh set if standard nuts. For a few bucks they will take care of it.
well you got an answer regardlessThat was a rhetorical question.
Before you go to great lengths to remove them, look in the glove box, center console, trunk, tool bag etc
Most people keep the "key" somewhere in the car
Okay, hold everything! You have a PT Cruiser!?This is what I used on my PT cruiser. I bought it with 5 locking lug nuts on each wheel and no socket to remove them. An internet photo but its the same thing as what I used.

Must be nice to drive these days without a paper bag ! LOLNot any more. It failed me when it hit 380000 kms. I actually liked that car. It drove me 120 miles a day to work and back for years. Not much left when I was done with it!
