I want to pull the 90 adapter off my LA 360 what's the #for the short filter?

Also can I just unscrew the part the filter threads on to out of the 90, add the plate and screw the threads into the block?

What is required to go from the 90 to no 90?

Just take the 90 out, put the plate, gasket and fitting on.
The old Fram number is PH43 for the short filter, just cross-reference to your favorite brand of filter.

As I was saying before my post crashed.

I drill the holes in that plate to the next size bigger. Then I put a hole in between each one of the original holes.
This is so I have a greater volume of oil going and coming out of the filter.

MO-090 Mopar filter is the shorter one. Keep the 90° adapter and use the short filter.

The 90 leaks oil and it makes it hard to R and R the filter. With no inner fenders right out the block would be easy.

So Mr Grimm.

The 4 3/8" filter is part number.

51068 or is it B233.

Or is it 51068B233?

Napa 1085 short oil filter (3.836 inch)
Napa Gold 1215 (3.404 inch)

Mancini racing will have the correct plate for an LA engine.
