Got a new e mail......They dropped from 400 bucks a year to 1.99 a month for 10 gig......I guess instant billionaire wasn't working out for them

It could be free I won't go back. What little I had to do with them, AND the mess they've made of the internet, they deserve to go under. Screw em

Now, if we could only get Slantsix.org's old hosted pics back!

One of my last email was that my account was in violation because it did not include hosting. Like it really mattered since they were blurring all of them anyway? Of course I could pay for hosting for $5 a month for that pleasure. So, with that, I deleted my account. They still have the balls to send me emails that my account is violation, or too full. I hope they choke on whatever they are smoking!

I agree 100%. I had LOTS of model railroad photos there. Now gone forever. Assholes.

Muuhaaahaaa! crippled link URL (no x's) xhttp://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a560/Pompis88/DSC_1428_zpsa3bc295e.jpgx

try this chrome extension Photobucket Hotlink Fix

IIRC it does what was leaked a while ago by changing the crippled URL to actually show the image URL. I tried to parse my link to compare to original but its a FABO hosted pic now.

Fotophucket has sure bucketed up the damn internet. All over the net you run across some "how to" thread or other great info ruined by screwed used-ta-be photo

There are still MILLIONS of pictures out there that will never be recovered thanks Bucked up Photo.

Fuckitbucket screwed the pooch when they went strong arm. I will not pay them a penny.

I understand that a lot of older photo sharing sites are really riding a dying horse. I know flickr is losing money, but their approach has been trying to explain to users what the situation is, and giving them reasonable priced options IF they want help out. I find this more palatable then the strongarm tactics of photobucket, or Hunt101, which just shut down without warning, causing me to lose the only picture of a hunting trip with my dad.

I will never go back to them.
I appreciate a forum with enough storage to host the pictures there.
