Hi all! I am in serious need of a top frame header panel (front bow) for my 68 Barracuda. Does anyone know where I can get one?? A company that manufactures them? old stock? Anything?

I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Best bet, put a wanted ad in the parts wanted section.
Or find a car being parted. DART should be the same.

Yes Dart and Barracuda is the same, but good luck finding a rust-free one. I recently parted out a top and sold the header panel. It had minimal rust and I got $300 for it. ALL of the rust, most are rusted through. I can see if I have another one, but it is getting to the point that they are getting hard to find, so I don't know if I should part another top frame out. Nobody makes them.

That's the problem I keep running into is that nobody makes them. I am at the point of looking into complete frames just to get a good header panel, but the only one I found was 2800 dollars....ouch! Mine is rusted right at both corners...

I have a 67 barracuda sitting ready to it chop up. What part are you referring to buy top frame header panel ? I might just have it.

It's actually the front bow it's attached with 2 bolts on each side, the top is stretched over it and screwed to is under side

My friend in Pa has the entire Fish Vert. frame with header. Send me a PM with your phone number and I'll pass it on to him. His name is Erik.

I had a friend with an English wheel make a replacement patch for the passenger side on my '68. Took him about an hour and then about another hour to final fit and weld in place. Cost me about $200.00
