I tried just about everything and everything I did helped a little bit until now. 68 Valiant 440 with A/C. Took the 3" thick 22" Champion radiator out put in a triple pass cross flow from Summit in that helped at speed and the hight flow water pump helped at low speeds, electric pusher and puller fans didn't work, shroud helped a bit but then I put this on flex-a-lite 4818 fan designed for RV use and it is heavy but at near 100 degrees yesterday I never shut the A/C off and on the highway it ran about 185 in the city around 190 and sitting in traffic it went up to 205 in drive stopped and cooled as soon as I started moving

My flex-a-lite in the 70's was the "orange" high performance fan, supposedly helped lower Elapsed Times. It was a material like fiberglass. I understand it was dis-continued.

we ran one on the hemi for a while, those were dangerous back in the day when u checked total timing running the engine up. I wouldn`t touch one now !!

We ran that fan on the hemi, w/ a 318 radiator, was always the last ones to get cooled off back then. I wouldn`t trust that fan now for anybody> dangerous !
Sorry for double comment ?
