65 Dart GT Seat Medallions

I will be dying the white seats in my 65 Dart, to restore them, and I'm trying to figure out what to do to the buttons. They have a chrome trim around them, but the inside? Should I paint them? What color? I've never seen these on another car so I don't know what they looked like originally.
Does anyone have a good picture of a restored one?

You can check out my thread 1965 Dodge Dart Charger. Not sure which page but I guess between 85 to 100 is a picture when I restored my seats.

The center part of buttons are the same color as your seat material.
