I'm updating the Dartcharger register and need the dealers code for the following Dodge dealers in California;

Carter Motors/Wegge Motors, Monrovia
North Hollywood Dodge, Inc, N. Hollywood
Jim Soutar's Dodge City, Inc, Barstow
Atlantic Dodge, Inc, Los Angeles
University Dodge, Inc, Palo Alto
World Dodge, Inc, Vallejo
Tahoe Valley Dodge, Inc, Tahoe

If a owner of a Dartcharger or someone that know's of someone owning a Dartcharger, please tell them about my mission and see if you can get as much information about the dealers and on the cars as possible. The Dodge dealer codes can be found on the factory invoice as well as on the back side of the owners manual.

Sent your list to a guy that helped me find out some dealer codes for my D/Dart Registry. Hopefully he still works at Chrysler. Maybe he can pull them up. I'll let you know if he answers my email.

Per my contact Dave,

Carter Motors/Wegge Motors, Monrovia
Wegge 59456 (Pasadena) He didn't see Carter listed. The only dealers that came up in Monrovia were CP dealers, not Dodge.

North Hollywood Dodge, Inc, N. Hollywood -- Nothing came up

Jim Soutar's Dodge City, Inc, Barstow -- 57862

Atlantic Dodge, Inc, Los Angeles -- Nothing came up

University Dodge, Inc, Palo Alto -- Nothing came up

World Dodge, Inc, Vallejo -- 57556

Tahoe Valley Dodge, Inc, Tahoe -- 59526

I just checked out my labels over the years.

I found dealer code 53731 on Carter Motors/Wegge Motors. But 59456 might be right due to Carter and Wegge later merged.

I found from the paperwork on my own Dartcharger from Chrysler Historical that Universal Dodge had dealer code 56656. So then I just need Atlantic and North Hollywoods codes.

Any updates on the North Hollywood Dodge in North Hollywood, CA? I also searching for the dealer number for Berry Dodge in Oxnard, CA.

Any help would be gladly appriciated.
 
At times, the numbers change. New ownership, new location, extra location, etc.

I tracked some of it for a while but it turned out that most people just wanted the information to use on fake window stickers, so I scrapped the project.
 
I know about the dealerships changing names and locations. I'm doing my list just to keep busy. That plus I'm trying to figure out some of my missing D/Dart dealerships. Have some partial dealer codes.

I can send you a list of dealers from parts tags. They are mostly from the sixties.
