This was a comment in my build thread of my Duster:

"Do a little checking before you use the earlier LCA's with the later spindles and ball joints. I did that once, and the car wouldn't turn in a 40 acre field! @hemi71x or @72bluNblu are both members with extensive knowledge of what works and what doesn't as far as suspension parts."

Complete front end from a '73 Dart but the LCA are banged up so I planned to use the LCA from the '72 Duster which are very clean (new bushing needed of course).

Is this a problem? I have the '73 UCA, Spindles, gear, torsion bars, ect... everything but the LCAs which would come from the '72 Duster.

Thanks,

Only differences I'm aware of is factory anti roll bar tabs, either not there, or different between 72 earlier/ and 73/ later

True, the sway bar tabs, if so equipped, are mounted in a different location, but are the same tab! The 72 and earlier sway bar mounts under the K frame, and as such the tabs are mounted on the bottom of the LCA. The 73 and later sway bar goes thru the web of the K frame and puts the tabs at the top of the LCA!

Well one of us two saw the posting. lol

ALL A body LCA's from 1962-76 are the same thing.
And don't allow anybody to tell you differently.
They wouldn't know what they are talking about.
Just where sway bar mount tabs are welded onto the arm, if so equipped.
65-72
73-76

So what could have been the turning radius problem difference?

FYI
Sway bar mount tabs are two totally different styles. (designs)

Bottom.

Late to the party I guess!

But I agree with everything said so far. The arms are the same except for the sway bar mounting tabs, so if your LCA's don't have tabs it really doesn't matter. And the LCA's weren't the cause of the turning radius change.
