Production Figures for Plymouth Barracuda from Chrysler Historical collection

Have a thirty year plus collection of paperwork in a binder with information that I deemed important that was gleaned from all kinds of sources. most of this stuff is pre-internet days and I've run across information about production figures for the Barracuda.

This list includes 1970/74 Barracuda productions figures and also Challenger. The above list is all the A bodies. if you want to know about any E body production figure for a particular model, PM me and I will hit you back with the info that I have.

Again, this info is from Chrysler Historical Collection and I would assume these numbers are correct.

no breakdown information for 73 Dusters as of now. still going thru my binder. first time I've looked thru this in twenty years.

I have looked at 65 Barracuda numbers but have not found how many 65 formula s were produced. Any thoughts. 4505 273 4 barrel automatics were produced. I don't see very many 65 Barracuda's and very few formula s models.

I am sorry I don't have that info. This is old pre- internet days and i would be surprised if the info was not out there.
this may be and i repeat, may be because Chrysler didn't keep Model sub-series records..

Funny you said sub series. Totally gripes me when I go to Napa and they don't have any listing for a Barracuda. It's listed under the Valiant in therr catalog. Don't even mention its a formula s. They have no listing.

I will look in my books but as mentioned, Mopar didn't keep track of model breakdowns back in the mid 60's. And then there was the fire. My books list 4505 and no further breakdown.

Mike. I've searched and can't find any breakdown other than number made and split 4 speed and automatic.
Thanks

LOL "And then there was the fire." John Saxon in Joe Kidd. Are the 64 totals included with the 65's?
