Beaker cars

-
Not the biggest fan of the beak on my car .I prefer non-beak cars a little more. But it has grown on me and I appreciate it. I think I appreciate and like it more now that I have come to learn so many people dislike them haha.

I should really get a picture of it with the new wheels ...

well, if i were driving a camry, that beaker would look pretty good
but viewed in the rear view mirror of my 71 duster...not so much

That may be, but I'll bet I can out distance you on a tank, out MPG you, and out top end you.:D
My car wasn't built for "light to light" it was built for state to state.

I loved them then and still do. And my favorite ProStock drag cars of all.

and how often do you go state to state?

i got 3 kids, a wife and a mother in law who lives with us
truth be told, most times we all go out, we take the mazda
usually its just me or just me and the two oldest kids in the duster and its simply just across town...and i have never been late anywhere ive driven the duster

The beaker cars are just fine. For me, they only need a bit of custom grill painting to make them look their best...

73 and most 74 Dusters were not beakers in the front. They did have a bumper filler in the back. The 73's and 74's look great to me, and they sold like hot cakes. Approximately 279,000 in 74 alone (biggest year) bringing Chrysler back from lagging sales, So apparently people loved them.

We only drive/own classic Mopars, and mine leaves the state 6-8 times a year.
My car is not only my daily driver, but my service call vehicle for the business, and we cover multiple counties.
This is one of the reasons I wanted the A500 trans, as it not only has the OD and converter lockup for great mpg's on some of these 75mph freeways but the low first gear that gets it off the line a lot quicker around town.
Now if I could just get my hands on a 68-70 Charger to put this stuff in.:D

I will take an a body beak over a b body flat nose any day of the week.

Except for a Superbird or Roadrunner or GTX. lol

I bet if everyone admitted it, they would be like me, I have some things I love and HATE about every model Ma Mopar designed. I just accept it.
The beak does not bother me, but the dash trim, the small inside door handle, the plastic inside A pillow trim, the plastic above the doors etc...
A man that loves his beaker and his homely dog and wife, ...he is a good man!!!!!

When I was a teen, my Dad bought a 1975 Dart Sport 360. Yellow, with the black 1/2 on the front vinyl roof, with over the roof black stripes, ralleys, almost every option. I loved that car. Ran well for what it was. Also, last of the dual exhaust, no catalytic converters. I prefer the earlier cars. 69 my favorite. But I wouldn't kick a beaker out of bed. That blue one shows what can be done to make a nice car. Plus they're more affordable.

You could send them a part for for one and pay for the shipping and never get a thank you or a response even after sending a PM with the tracking number and asking if they got the part ok!!

I'm confused. What does this have to do with Beaker cars?

Yea, what Beast said.
I just did my daily 70 miles in rain or shine.
I've driven in snow, but not far.
You have a lot to put up with.
I'm also sorry you live in Michigan.:poke:

Beaks rule.
Birds have them.
I rest my case.

I found out I’ve eaten rat poot from time to time, and it’s pretty tasty. Dr. Rob Dunn, a biologist, said, “The bacteria responsible for sourdough bread originally came from rodent feces. Any sourdough you eat has that history, yet it’s all perfectly safe and delicious.” Hmm.
