I've been looking for my own project since junior's car is down to just fiddling with fun stuff. I was looking for a reasonably priced roller that might need a little work. Careful what you ask for. Lots and lots of parts in bins but almost everything is there. Including the parts to swap it to a 73 and back tail. It really has very few rust issues. A PO had cut out perfectly good inner fenders and spare tire well. Was gonna race it. Now just needs a floor pan, inner fender wells, spare tire well. Easy. Haha.

There's like 3 complete wiring harnesses with it. 1 each 74 and up, 1 each 73 and back with ecu and one non ecu.

Does have a short block (rebuidable?) 318, 904 and a 8.25 with 2.71's. All will need attention. I ordered a trunk floor today. Need rear quarter caps, bumper and taillights from 1973 and back.

Progress today and test fit. This might actually work. All the parts to do the tail swap came with the car. Except the rear quarter caps and bumper which I found at a local junk yard yesterday.

Nice! This car was in the Charleston area, wasn't it? It's been on craigslist for awhile. I tried to get the seller to part it out back when he was asking $1500 but (luckily for the car) he kept it together. It looks like it would make a great start for a project car. Factory 360 short block, if I remember correctly. I really wanted to give it a go, but my skills are nowhere near where they need to be for this. Glad someone knowledgable got it!

Yes it was in Moncks Corner. I've been interested for a while too. When I really got to lookin' and saw all the parts that came with it I decided to pull the trigger. The guy I bought it from knows a body's. All the important metal is in really good shape. When he dropped the price I couldn't stand it anymore. Hauled it all the way back to Florida. Adequate tools and basic skills is about all I've got. So I'll be learning along the way. Plus I get to pick the power!

Oh yeah the car came with the correct spacers for the 17" bullit wheels. Which are starting to grow on me.........

Following!! Iv always liked the 74 and 75 tail lights better than 70-73 but i like the grilles better 70-72 than 73-75 ! The bumper taillight look to me like the designer forgot to include them then just threw them in the bumper as an afterthought cause he had no where else to put them Lol! But that's just me i love them all it's gonna look good no matter what can't wait to see your progress

Really? Most seem to think the 500lb bumper and wrap around tail lights are hideous. To each his own. That's why a PO started the swap on this. I'm just going with the momentum...........

Lol yea Idk why iv always liked the 74-76 taillights I guess im strange lol I have a 75 and iv always hated my grille I have thought about switching it to a 70 or 71 I dought I will tho. I look forward to seeing how yours turns out good luck can't wait to see it!

Wonder what's in this big ole box?

Thanks Santa!

I just doubled the value of the car!!!

Picking the motor will be fun. Right now I'm leaning towards a cheap overhaul of the 318, so it's a learning experience for junior. Later a 408 or BB.
