Nah...I will start my own website.....WWW. More than A Bodies dot.com. .....where sold ads get deleted and for sale ads are reposted to keep it relevant.
A place for everybody

Good luck with that. This site has 49,232 member Surely you can attract more.

i like having them still on .you can see what parts or cars have been selling for.

...and it's evidence for the "he said, she said" that sometimes comes with deals made on the web.

Some just dont appreciate the site for all its value. And criticize things they think are an annoyance.

Gdrill Thanks...the only person gold or administrator WHO TRIED TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING...

Well, when you approach things like you did when you started this post, do you really expect people to bend over backwards to help you or explain? This might surprise you but, I actually have many different things to consider when making decisions about how the site is setup. I would imagine you didn't contemplate much more then how it inconvenienced you or that there could be various, legitimate reasons things are how they are.

And I'm the lazy one.

Joey, you can make all people happy, some of the time, and some people happy, all of the time, but you can't make all people happy, all of the time. You're doing great chief, keep it up.

Thank you. I do my best, but your right, I cant make everyone happy all the time.

Dude wants us to explain chit to him.... There aint enough crayons or construction paper in the world to simplify it to his level!

Well, at least you contributed to the 15 pages to make sure we get there.
i'm in.
also, hey Joey, i marked my sold-ad sold, as soon as it was sold. can i get it un-marked so as to contribute to the collective chaos?

You are doing a fine job Joey. I think most just don't realize what an undertaking it is to own and operate several sites. Don't worry though, we got your back! And as for people who ask for things to be changed or modified, ideas and suggestions are great, but perhaps the insulting comments could be left aside until a full understanding of the operation is at hand!
Carry on FABO!

;)

Since we're on the topic, I just posted some carb parts for free, once I had a taker (about 4 minutes after posting them) I marked it as sold...but really, I didn't sell it, can we add a way to mark it "not sold but no longer available" ?

Thanks

:poke:

Um, nope. :)

Anybody can see the dates on the threads. We don't catch all the sold items that aren't marked. Lazy has nothing to do with anything. Coincidentally, I bought a 1968 Rallye dash frame from an ad that was several years old. I PM'd the member and he still had it in his attic. I'm glad the ad wasn't deleted.

Personally, I used the old ads to see what relevant prices are when I buy and sell parts, and the picture archive alone is priceless. AND I buy stuff from old ads.
