It's been a few years since we've been to the Nats.
What is the best most happening place to cruise? Brice Rd or out in heath?

Thanks for the update. Don't forget @HemiDenny's huge tent next to the drag strip hot pit lanes. He and his group have a cool display of their own cars and many historic race cars as well.

I went every year from 1984-2008 the daily drivers they let in ruined for me.
That's the thing I like about the Nats. Checking out the weekend cruisers and drivers.
Seeing a bunch of over restored trailer queen show cars gets boring.

For me the show is big enough that I don't mind if they let daily drivers in. I don't need to look at them if I don't want to. I'm not a fan of early A bodies but seeing one doesn't ruin the show for me just as much as seeing a Ram or Neon doesn't.

@340man, I hated to do it but I edited your title to correct the date and your first post. Your info was from last year. Thanks.

Bryce Road cruise is pretty much history and the last few years at Heath have been restricted. The Mopar guys are ok but the locals come out with their hot rods and diesel pick ups and screw things up. We usually go to Pa Pa Boos on the lake (Buckeye Lake) on Saturday night. There was a crazy cruise there last year. Lots of burnouts!

So who else is headed to the Nats? It's been 15+ years since I went but I remember being blown away with how big it was. I was a young gun that year and got my picture in Mopar Muscle Magazine.

We will be vending in the swap meet field. Stop by the large "Big Top" tent as you enter into the swap meet from the general fun field and pit area for the drag cars. We are easily enough to find.

We will have a large selection of Precision and Steele windshield and rear window gaskets, Metro, Steele and Soft Seal door and roof rail seals, Top Catwhiskers for most all makes and models at the show, package trays, seat dividers, washer bottles, battery cables and the list goes on. If there should be any special request, please let me know asap so that we can try to take care of your needs. This is especially true for AMD sheet metal or ACC carpet.

Also, we will have the 69 383 Dart of JW and Angela Hames under the tent. This car took gold at MCACN last year. There will also be the super nice restomod Dart belonging to Wayne and his wife. This car features a Barton Hemi and a very trick suspension.

Even if you should not need anything, stop by and introduce yourself. It is nice to put a face to a name. There will be an area set aside so that you can take a seat and enjoy a cold water while your enjoying the show.

If anyone has any special request for the show. Please drop me a message in the event that we can help you in your restoration needs. Everyone have safe travels in your journey to Columbus.

I'll be there. Haven't missed a year in a long time.
as for the daily drivers, they pretty much have those in their own area.
I have gone to buying a swap space with a few of my friends. That way we have a guaranteed space.
The last year I was in the fun field, was the last year I'll ever do it.
Got there on Thursday, laid claim to a spot, and all was good Thursday and Friday. Saturday I find my EZUp at the fence line and a bunch of guys with Dakota R/T's in my space. The hell of it is, I was sitting in line at the gate trying to get in and watched them do it.
I got security and they made the guy move, but they were still next to me with the rest of his buddies being assholes.
I like Carlisle because of how they organize the show, but the down side is that if you want to hang with your friends, and they have other bodies, you can't.

is it worth going for Friday or should i go down on a Saturday?
It's worth the trip to go on Friday. Saturday will be packed! There will be more cars and alot of racing on Saturday but Friday won't be a slouch.
If you're going for the swap meet, Thursday is good too. Most vendors are setting up and the pickings are the best.

I was invited to go by a b-body buddy. He's got a house rented (on Buckeye Lake) for the weekend. I'll be riding shotgun in his '70 Coronet SuperBee (383, 3x2, 5-speed). I haven't been since 2005 (if I remember correctly). I'm looking forward to it.
