Installing the glass on my 68 fastback barracuda there seems to be a small hole on the inside top middle of the door that holds the windows together. I was told is a specialty bolt can anybody point me in the right direction to what I need?

This is odd- your hole appears to be about 1" lower than mine. This hole is capped by a rubber, interior color plug. The purpose of the hole is to allow access to an allen head bolt in the vent wing assembly which is used as an adjustment. If you have changed the interior color, then you will need to paint that rubber cap to match. Good luck.

The 67 used a philip screw and was higher (about an inch) than the 68, the 68 has a screw (allen I think) that you access through that hole.

edit: I just looked at a picture of my 67, it is the other way, the 67 is in the location as pictured.

Thanks Alan, interesting. Mine is a '68, is 1" higher and is an allen. I guess '67 is a little different.
 
That is why I keep telling anyone who is selling doors to tell me what year the door came off of! 67 is unique, 68 is unique, 69-72 are similar enough to not worry about. Darts and Barracudas changed the same things.
 
The wing window handle tells me it is a 67 door that he has. It changed in 68 and remained the same afterwards.
 
So it's a Phillips head screw that goes in there? Any idea on length?
 
OK, pictures help. This is my '68 cuda, yours should be the same or similar. We are looking at the right side. On my car and on your car- that hole in the door allows you access to the allen bolt seen here, or maybe on your car a phillips screw. This screw along with others allow you to adjust the position of the "A" frame to the body/ weatherstrip.If I were to put an allen wrench through that hole to make an adjustment, the allen bolt itself is about 1 1/2" inside the panel. Hope this helps.

Either this 68 is an early car with 67 parts or the door(s) have been replaced with 67's.
One would assume if the vent wing lever is also 67 the frame is as well.
That being said he just needs a screw that a 67 would normally have.

What is the build date on this car?
Do the doors match?

Alan, I agree. These '67 parts can still work. Only if we want to be "correct"would we want to replace the whole door.
 
The drivers door is a 68 and passenger appears to be a 67 no big deal it's a slant 6 with a gen 3 hemi swap done on it
 
Isnt there something about the door lock knobs being in different positions also from say 68 to 69 or sumtin?
