Who makes a good fab aluminum valve cover for small block Mopar?
I've tried the $80.00 e-bay covers, got oil coming out of the bolt tubes.
Not looking for $300 buck plus covers either.

what kind of gasket are you running for this oil percolation?

Moroso Perm-Align gaskets
Strange thing is just got three bleeding oil,all on the bottom.
I pulled the covers, poured a little oil in them and they are not leaking around the top of the tubes at the welds.
Takes about 5 min. for the leaking to start.
Running a HV pump,75psi @ idle hot,15-40 oil.

A friend of mine had similar issues.. He finally used some fiber gaskets under the heads of the bolts.

I was thinking of trying to make gaskets for them.
A Holley bowel screw gasket looks like a close fit.
Did he make his or something he bought?

I think he used some round fiber gaskets out of a faucet repair kit.. from Harbor Freight, maybe?

What pcv are you using ? if you have a vacuum in the crankcase there should be no leaks! Sounds like you have pressure in the crankcase.

Man I was gonna say those Moroso valve covers are real nice but you said nothin over 300. Think they go for $400. lol.

Am I the only one that thinks that's a lot of oil pressure, hot, at idle no less?

I bought a set from KMJ Performance. Used fel pro gaskets and never had a leak of any kind on a daily driver. Think they were like $85. I wouldn't hesitate buying another set

It's a new bracket car build,I'm using a Mr Gasket pan evacuation.
This was during the brake-in of the new stroker motor.
I was mistaken about the pressure,75 psi cold,60 psi hot at idle.
These are the KMJ Performance covers I'm using.
This afternoon I put some hard Holley bowel gaskets under the bolts with Right Stuff sealer.
I'll fire it tomorrow see if it stopped the leaks.

I agree with you but the high pressure is not causing the leak .
true, to a point. But maybe between the high oil pressure and HV oil pump, he''s throwing so much oil around the valve cover he's overcoming a poor sealing situation and making it worse. The previous suggestion that maybe the engine is pressurizing not evacuating because of an inoperable PCV system, poor ring seal, or "what have you" is a possible factor, too. Just spit-balling, here.
