Saw their display at The Nats. TorqStorm Supercharger Kits for MOPAR - Single Supercharger The machine work was stunning. Serp belt system for all accessories. I would say it's a belt driven turbocharger. The slant6 and the 318 set up caught my attention.

A centrifugal supercharger is pretty much a belt driven turbo. Some of the old Vortec stuff was basically cast turbo impellers.

I’ve been following them for a while, it seems like quality stuff. I think they redesigned the old powerdyne blowers that had crappy ceramic bearings that would blow to pieces.

We saw their display as well. Those kits had some fantastic engineering. I talked to one of them about their /6 kit. He said they were looking at adding AC. A couple of issues were where to put the AC and the alternator, and they weren't sure where the price point would have to be. He was sharp. Great guy.

I do wonder about the real world longlivety of that extended pulley. There's a lot of force on that thing.

Looks very similar to the Australian made Raptor Supercharger I've got.
The one I have is even watercooled on the shell.

TorqStorm Billet Supercharger Kits

The TorqStorm Difference
No rough, flimsy castings here, both the supercharger's housing and cover are precision-machined from billet 6061 aluminum. The charger is available in natural, black or micro-polished finishes.

Boost is factory set at 6-8 psi producing a meaningful horsepower increase without the need for internal engine modifications. However, if the desire for even greater power arises, the TorqStorm® charger is capable of flowing enough air to support over 700 horsepower.

A proprietary ceramic bearing system is utilized to greatly increase the product's durability and service life. All internal components of the supercharger are specially coated for temperature and wear control. Accelerated Racing Products is so confident of the durability of their product that they offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all their TorqStorm®superchargers.

Each kit is specifically designed for each motor aqpplication and engineered to get up and running quickly. The supercharger is mounted via a stout .75" CNC-machined aluminum bracket to the motor for flex-free performance. Custom routing of the optional charge plumbing and/or intercoolers is simplified by the use of a unique v-band clamping system. This unique feature allows the compressor to be clocked in any position relative to the housing. The supercharger also has its own self-contained oil supply, further simplifying installation as the need for oil feed lines is eliminated.

Raptor Superchargers Australia

Where does one find an installation kit to fit the big Raptor compressor on either 5.9 Magnum or 440 Mopar?

I would love to get one but I just bought a new carburetor and I wouldn't want to have to buy another carb. Plus I'm not sure they can run off a mechanical pump.

What about alternator mounting? Or a/c?

The more I look at these kits the more interested I get. Iooks pretty good for guys only looking for low boost #s like me. 650-700hp. Would be perfect .

I purchased my setup while i was in the middle east. Barely got home and seen it and it looks pretty damn good. I opted fofor the black crinkle coat type finish though.

A new carb or a step up to fuel injection would be needed to really do it right.
The fuel pump would be required to have an out out of at least double the boost level & a regulator with a return line.
