I purchased these seats for my son's 67 Dart. I was told they were for a 68 Dart. I've been trying to find new covers and it appears that they may actually be 64-65 Barracuda or Valiant seats. Any thoughts? I'm not concerned necessarily about the car being original, I just need to know what they are so I can get covers that fit. what other year covers would fit. my biggest concern is getting a rear seat cover to match the new fronts without having them custom made. This is my 16 year olds daily driver and looking for the best , low cost option to dress up his interior.

On a side note, yes that is an auto console with a column shift. we are slowly collecting parts to switch to a console shift. I removed the auto plate that has the gears listed on the console and replaced it with black plates. it doesn't look to bad and now he has more storage and an extra auxiliary power port.

I would say 65 Barracuda.
65 & 66 are definitely the same frame, I believe 64 is the same but not positive.
Classic industries shows that 60-65 A bodies use the same foam. Any chance 67 or 68-69 foam and covers will work on older frames?

More like a 66 Barracuda. NOT the same as 65.
64-65 are the same.

A front view of the seats would tell for sure. 64-65 narrow, 66 wide border.

If the seats I have are 64-65, what are the chances that 67 rear seat frames are same as 64-65 rear frames? If they are,I could get all the same year covers.

Original 66 Barracuda seats will have the 3 dots horizontal in the middle of the upright ( as your picture shows ). A straight on pic of your seats might answer a lot of questions.

Those seats are ‘65 Valiant (frame identical for ‘64 plus ‘64 -‘65 Barracuda & Dart). So any ‘64-65 Valiant, Barracuda or Dart cover will fit.

The ‘66-‘67 seats have a sheet metal backside but more importantly I beleive they are just a touch narrower to fit the new for ‘66 console that you show in the pic.
So you may have some interference between seat & console but I think some guys have gotten those to all fit in an early A.

1966 Model buckets for Plymouth A bodies look like these, 64 65 are wider then these

They look like 64 to me.
Ok. I think its determined they are 64-65 seats. my question now is what year 2 door hard tops use the same rear seat frames. I just want to be able to have matching front and rear covers.
