Looks like she's sagging on the passenger side a bit. 65'

Good time to start practicing your leaf spring welding skills...

A pal did that here in PA in a T/A. It snapped over the top of the front mainspring coil so it could not be seen visually from underneath.

Damb that exhuast is tight.

I'll say, mini tubed with a dana 60, fuel cell dropped. very interesting getting all those bends up and around all that **** out to the bumper.

Not sure my exhaust guy could pull that off. It has to be hitting somewhere.

yeah well it is now, passenger leaf is smacking it hard. Oh and i got 2" lowering blocks shoving the axel up in the wells too.

Nothing a set of Gabriel skyjackers won't cure

ha, been there done it several times. Getting old and gonna see about making this a driveable straight line car.

So this whole event is kind of motivational kick in the *** to improve the ride quality and drivability. To sum it up in one statement. My car handles like a SAIL BOAT IN THE ATLANTIC HIGH SEA'S. The car was set up for the 1/4, turn at your own risk. This leaf breaking will be the start of trying to keep the same stance/look but make it much better at handling.

first thing on the list is to replace the 1990's bias ply sticky mickeys. these have served there purpose and then some.

so bought the hellwig 5906 sway bar. based on what you guys see here is that the wrong bar? given the fact that i have 2 different LCA'S i am now thinking the hellwig 55917 may be the one i really need?

So i always wondered why the pass LCA adjuster was cranked in a good bit more than the drivers. Got up in there and can see the bushing is compromised. Probably didn't help the pass rear leaf spring. i can see this is leading to a complete front end rebuild.

There are different length adjuster screws. I know for a fact that I have 3" and 3-1/2".
Also some are fine thread and some are coarse thread.
You definitely have a mix of parts. No telling what you'll find in a 46 year old car.

BTW nice car! If you decide to repair that spring for now i just removed a newer replacement main spring from an body spring set yesterday, PM me if your interested

thanks and thats good info to know. for sure with the mix of parts, makes it difficult to figure out what i have and what i am supposed to have ? The FSM comes in handy for that.
