This is a repost of a closed thread, but I’m still looking:

1961 Dodge Lancer 770 Station Wagon

This car is extremely hard to find, but if anyone knows of one that's available, please send contact info or put me in touch.
Thanks in advance.......

Last post someone mentioned they had one in Sweden, which I never heard back from. Truth that may be farther than I’m willing to go, prefer somewhere in the US or Canada.

Anyone comes across one, please let me know or PM me.

Thanks!

Could you clarify what your looking for condition wise. Driver? Show car? Restoration candidate needing only mechanical repair? First one you come across regardless of condition due to it's rarity? It's why I never responded to your first ad.

Your mailbox is full.
Try moparfrank, I sold him a 61 wagon a few years ago, he might sell it, but you will need a 4 door donor car to go with the wagon.

Fair enough. Ideally I'd like to find a driver, don't need a show car, and with my mech skills which are good - not great, a basket case is not an option for me.

That removes the two I know from consideration as both are basket cases and they both need partial/full floor replacement as most of these early cars do. Appreciate the clarification. Would you accept a "170" wagon if it were in the condition you desire?

I will always take a look, but the look of that 770 is really one of a kind, i will likely just hold out for years until i find one. Much appreciated though.

I saw a nice one sell a couple years ago for around $3500-4000 I believe it was, Nice driver. . Great deal but these cars have few lovers. I would like one too, but the only one I know of is wayyyy rough and was priced at $1500.

I know... I first saw the wagon because of a local craigs list add in the next town over, beautiful car and asking price was $13k - looked like a solid driver quality ride. Years later I'm still kicking myself for not scooping up that wagon!

These cars are rare, but rare has little to do with value. Worth what anyone will pay for sure. Important thing is pay what you feel it is worth to you, nothing else really matters.
