Bought this car in 98. It was 318,727, small rear driver. Paid $1000 for it and it was delivered to my house. It sat for a couple of years and I went decided the time was right. Began by converting it to big bolt pattern, change rear to 8 3/4, new exhaust changed carb..y’all Know the drill.
Drove like that for many years and decided to go 360 and I wanted to go magnum.
Fixed a 98 360, M1 intake, 650vs Hughes cam, 2800 no name converter, Tti headers and exhaust stock everything else. Drove like this for years and all my buddy with there LS stuff went Turbo and convinced me to go also. So it began.

Came back from Carlise, sold my Tti exhaust and headers. And began the parts gathering process

With all that done, turned my attention to the ignition. Used a MSD and added a limited to the distributor.

Here it is after it was done and madien voyage. Spinning at 50mph, barely see the marks. This was on 6 psi and a 11.8 afr

Never dynoed or made it to the track before I hurt this combo. Actually It wasn’t my fault (this time), my wastegate reference came off and who know that the boost was before it went pop.
Sold the engine to my cousin who fixed an couple of pistons and headgaskets which had broke and put it back together and is driving it right now this combo minus the turbo and intake.

So that brings us to the combo now.
390ci magnum block, Fully forged Icon pistons, I believe scat crank and rods. I bought it from my nephew who assembled it for a customer who went MIA when it was done.

Called Hughes and he specked me a turbo cam and valve springs. Had to cut the heads for the springs to be at the right installed height. Believe we cut 80 thousands from the seat

The car is stupid fast on 6psi and it won’t be there for long. I need to go injected. Only drove maybe 10 miles and I have a lot of tuning to do. Not sure how long the TCI trans is gonna last but I will be sure to let y’all know when it breaks. Haven’t messed with the car couple of months, just walk by it in the garage. Sad I know.

I tried to be fairly generic with this post. If anyone has specific questions feel free to ask.
BTW- This is what my cousin did with the old motor. Here are the cam specs of it. Runs just like it did minus turbo.

What in the world are you doing for cooling fan(s)?
There is a large electric pusher fan in front of the radiator. It works fairly well but I wanna move the radiator forward or get a different one and mount a crown Vic’s fan in stock location. This is another reason I haven’t been driving this thing much. It’s been hot here in NC and I don’t trust the stock guage. Here is a lot of heat in there but I never had an issue with the old combo. Just a nervous precaution.

You’re not kidding about that NC heat. It’s too hot here.

More engine pics of downpipe and where it exits out the fender. It’s fairly loud! Haha!! My neighbors love me!

Funny story, I live in a small town and all the cops go to the BP for gas at certain times. Last time I drove it I went there for gas and they were all there. They asked some questions about the car and then watched me drive away and get into some boost crossing the intersection. Love it!!!!
